Buying[]
Trying to figure out when to buy banana peppers? Banana peppers are mature when they reach approx. 4-6 inches, resemble a banana in shape and are pale yellow/yellow green in color, they become a mix of yellow and red. Should feel slightly firm when ripe (but not too firm!). If it's squishy and flimsy, it's probably over-ripe.
